Lynn Umbach Euler was a 4-year letter winner for the Western volleyball team from 1982-1985. Lynn racked up numerous Central States Intercollegiate Athletics (CSIC) honors including three First-Team, All-CSIC selections from 1983-85 and a Second-Team, All-CSIC nod as a freshman in 1982. Umbach was a 4-time member of the NAIA District 16 First-Team from 1982-85. In 1983, she was an NAIA honorable mention All-America selection during her sophomore season and was a 2-time National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) First-Team, All-America selection for the Western volleyball team in 1984 and 1985. This Highland, Indiana, native currently holds Missouri Western career records in assists (5,644) and service aces (492) and holds the MWSU single season record for aces with 152.

Lynn graduated from Missouri Western in 1986. Upon graduation, she began a career in the banking industry. From 1989-1998 she worked as an auditor for Ameribanc, Inc. and then the First Bank of Missouri. In 1998, Lynn went to work for Provident Bank where she helped convert Provident and nine other banks with similar data processing systems into one bank.

Upon completion of the merger she went to work in the Finance and Accounting Department, spending the last three years doing their regulatory reporting.

Lynn and her husband, Joel, reside in Wathena, Kansas. They have two children, Andrew and Kimberly.
