Hall of Fame
Cheryl Williams exploded onto the scene her junior and senior years for the Griffon volleyball club as she accumulated 1,156 kills and 489 blocks in two seasons. She sits in fifth, just two places shy of teammate Mertens-Francis, for a total of 1,478 career kills and 731 blocks in her career. She received second team NAIA All-American honors in 1986 and despite a better offensive senior season, honorable mention honors in 1987. The CSIC and District 16 named her to their first team during her junior and senior seasons (1986-87).
Williams currently resides in Overland Park, Kan.
