Eric Walker becomes yet another member of the early-Jerry Partridge era to enter the hall of fame. A standout linebacker, no Griffon since 1989 has amassed more total tackles (416). His 204 solo tackles are also a post-1988 record.

He was twice named first team All-MIAA (2001 and 02). In 2002, Walker was named first team AP Little All-America and honorable mention Don Hansen All-American. He led the Griffons in tackles in 2000, 01 and 02, totaling no less than 108 tackles in any of those three seasons. Walker was instrumental in building MWSU's football program into one of the most successful in the nation. He was a part of four winning squads that totaled 29 wins, including two eight-win seasons (2000 and 01). The 2000 team went 8-1 in the MIAA and qualified MWSU for its first postseason game since 1979. That team is one of only two (2012) to have only one loss in MIAA play.

Walker graduated from MWSC in 2003 with a bachelor of science in criminal justice. He is a detention corporal for the Hillsborough County, Florida, Sheriff's Office.
