Box Score ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western Women's Tennis sealed their first victory of the season on Saturday as the Griffons topped Newman 4-1. The victory over Newman also caps day two of the Stoney Creek Hotel Tennis Classic.
 
In the start of the match, the Jets won two of three doubles matches, starting the day with a 1-0 lead. But the Griffons rallied back in a big way, capping Saturday's action with four straight singles victories.
