KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced its Week Seven women's soccer award winners for the 2025 season, with MoWest senior defender Nicoletta Froehlich earning Defender of the Week honors.

Froehlich proved to be a true two-way standout for the Griffons, logging all one hundred eighty minutes across MoWest's shutout wins over Nebraska Kearney and Fort Hays State. She contributed offensively with an assist while serving as a steady anchor in both the midfield and back line, helping lead a defense that did not concede a goal in either match.
