GREENWOOD, Ind. – Brookelyn Buttolph, a senior defender from West Des Moines, Iowa, earned CSC Academic All-America® Third Team honors, as announced by College Sports Communicators on Wednesday, December 17, following an outstanding season both on the field and in the classroom.
Buttolph becomes the first student-athlete in Griffon Women's Soccer history to receive Academic All-America® recognition and marks the first All-America honor of her career.
Buttolph earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and maintains a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA at both the undergraduate and graduate levels while pursuing her Master of Business Administration. On the field, she played a pivotal role for the Griffons, anchoring the defense and helping guide the program to sustained success throughout the season.
