KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced its 2025 Women's Soccer Academic Awards, recognizing 12 Griffon student-athletes for excellence in the classroom.
Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll were

Brookelyn Buttolph,
Morgan Byrd,
Teigan Capper,
Chaleigh Depner,
Nicoletta Froehlich,
Maddy Harmon,
Kaari Little,
Annie McDevitt,
Camrin Peaslee,
Corinne Stewart, and
Aidyn Woodall.

Aidyn Woodall earned MIAA Scholar-Athlete distinction.

Three Griffons collected all three of the league's postseason academic awards:
Brookelyn Buttolph (4.00 GPA, All-MIAA Third Team Defender),
Morgan Byrd (Honorable Mention Goalkeeper), and
Kaari Little (Honorable Mention Midfielder).
To be named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must post a 3.00 or higher grade point average, as calculated by the institution for NCAA academic certification, and complete at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
MIAA Scholar-Athlete recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a 3.50 or higher GPA, as used for NCAA academic certification, who have completed a minimum of two terms at the certifying institution and earned All-MIAA honors during the 2025 season.
Academic Excellence Award recipients must record a perfect 4.00 GPA used for NCAA academic certification and have at least two terms of grades reported at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
