9/8 - SCOUTING ROCKHURST | 5 PM
The Griffons pack up and hit the road for the first time this season, traveling south to Kansas City, Missouri, to face the Rockhurst University Hawks. The Hawks (1-0-1, 0-0 GLVC) and Griffons face off for the first time since Sept. 5, 2021. In their last match at Spratt Stadium, the Griffons dominated all 90 minutes of the game, winning 4-1.

Last weekend in St. Joseph, the Hawks played against both of the Griffons' two previous opponents. Rockhurst won 2-0 against the Wolves of Northern State and finished in a 0-0 draw against the No. 9 Beavers of Bemidji State. Junior midfielder Gabby Hennessey is the only goal scorer thus far for the Hawks, earning two goals in the sixth and 66th minutes against the Wolves.

The Griffons and Hawks kick off at 5 p.m. at Bourke Field.

9/10 - WILLIAM JEWELL | 12 PM
To finish off the weekend, the Griffons travel to Liberty, Missouri, to play the William Jewell Cardinals. The Cardinals (0-1, 0-0 GLVC) are coming off a close 1-0 loss to the Wayne State Wildcats.

The Griffons are currently 0-2 all-time vs. the Cardinals. It will be 10 years since these two teams have faced each other, with the most recent meeting in 2013. In that matchup, the Griffons struggled to put points on the board and fell 5-2. Although they have yet to score, the only Cardinal to come close to the net is sophomore midfielder Lux Sands, who put two shots on goal.

The goalkeeping has been split between two Cardinals, with freshman Jenna Skeeters getting 75 minutes in the first game with a 62.5 save percentage. Prior to Sunday's match, the Cardinals face the Oklahoma Christian Eagles (1-0, SAC 0-0) on Friday.

The game between the Griffons and Cardinals begins at 12 p.m. at the WJC soccer field.
