ST. JOSEPH – The Missouri Western Soccer team finishes out their four-game stretch of road matches this week as they head to Emporia State on Friday, and Washburn on Sunday.
The Griffons will be looking to bounce back into the win column this week as they lost two consecutive road games last weekend: one to No. 7 Central Missouri 0-1, and another to Missouri Southern 1-4.
PREVIEWING THE GRIFFONS
- Missouri Western holds win streaks against both programs they will play this week. The Griffs hold a four-game win streak against the Ichabods and a two-game win streak against the Hornets.
- The Griffons has seen Emporia State in action before, as the Hornets participated in the Stoney Creek Hotel Classic at Spratt Stadium in September.

- Mackenzie Dimarco is at the top of the conference in average shots per game with a rate of 5.56.
- Dimarco is also ranked in the top-five of the league in average points and goals per game.
- Jillian Patton ranks third in the MIAA as a goalie for average shutouts per game with a rate of .222.
PREVIEWING WASHBURN
- The Ichabods are ranked in the top-five of the MIAA in average shots (6.86) and assists (1.286) per game.
- Tera Lynch is ranked fifth in the conference in average assists per game with a rate of .571.
- Lynch is also ranked ninth in the MIAA in average shots per game with a rate of 2.71.
- Raegan Wells is ranked second in the league in save percentage with a rate of .897.
