2014 season: Had a solid junior season pitching in 15 gams with nine starts...had a 4.66 ERA with a 6-2 record...pitched on complete game and led the team pitching 63.2 innings...gave up 33 earned runs with 35 strikeouts...pitched a season high eight innings in the MIAA Tournament against Northeastern State...had six strikeouts in the contest.

Maple Woods CC: Woods is a 6-2 pitcher who also comes to MWSU from Maple Woods Community College in Kansas City, Mo...he helped MWCC to a Region 16 Championship in 2013 while starting 10 games with a 2.68 ERA...pitched 57 innings giving up 47 hits and striking out 37.

High School: He played his high school baseball at Smithville High School in Smithville, Mo...was a two time All-District and All-Conference selection.

Personal: Son of Tony and Kellis Woods...favorite food is Mexican...dream vacation spot is Ireland...favorite video game is Call of Duty...misses nap time when he was a kid...wanted to be a paleontologist when he was younger, now his dream job is to play Major League baseball...he plans on majoring in biology.
