EMPORIA, Kan. - Griffon Track and Field saw 11 athletes come away with top ten finishes at the Midwest Classic and Multis on a windy day at Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas Friday.

"Many athletes fought the elements and competition and still performed well, which is a testament to their willpower. It certainly wasn't a day for fast times, but the fight was there and that's what mattered on a day like today. We look forward to the next meet and hope it's a calmer day.
