ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Men's and Women's Golf return to action after a week off, with the men traveling to Pittsburg, Kansas, and the women competing closer to home in Blue Springs, Missouri.
The Griffon Men's team will travel to Pittsburg, Kansas, to compete in the Tommy Riggs Collegiate Invitational. MoWest will compete at Crestwood Country Club on March 30–31. This MIAA-designated event will be used to determine conference standings.
This two-day event features MIAA competition along with other NCAA DII programs. This week's lineup for the Griffon Men features Aiden Asby, Parker Boggins, Tim Johnston, Parker Bunting, and Bennett Berger. Jackson Patterson will be competing as an individual. Tim Johnston will look to improve on a strong start to the spring season, after finishing fourth at the Oak Tree Invitational on March 16–17.
The Griffon Women's team stays close to home this week, competing in the NSIC Conference Preview on March 30–31 in Blue Springs, Missouri, at Adams Pointe Golf Club. This field features several NCAA DII programs.
This week's lineup for the Griffon Women includes Saya Schweitzer, Ines Vandaele, Lauren Mallow, Makenna Casey, and Avery Wells. Emma Spurlin will represent MoWest as an individual. After a tied-for-fifth finish in Bolivar, Missouri, on March 17–18, Ines Vandaele will look to continue a strong senior season. Follow along with live results at GoGriffons.com.
What's Next
Griffon Men's Golf will return to action on April 6–7 at the Firekeeper Open in Mayetta, Kansas. Griffon Women's Golf will also be on the road April 5–7, traveling to Monkey Island, Oklahoma. They will be competing in the Spring Regional Preview at Shangri-La Resort.
