MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – Griffon Women's Golf sits in 16th place after the opening round of the Spring Regional Preview at Shangri-La Resort, posting a team score of 329 (+41) on day one.

MoWest was led by Makenna Casey, who fired a 78 (+6) and is currently tied for 31st place individually. Saya Schweitzer followed with an 81 (+9), tied for 58th, while Avery Wells added an 82 (+10), tied for 62nd overall.

Lauren Mallow carded an 88 (+16) and is tied for 85th, while Ines Vandaele rounded out the lineup with an 89 (+17), placing 87th after the first round.
