ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Tennis (8-2, 0-0 MIAA) opens MIAA play this weekend with a road trip to Nebraska-Kearney before returning home for a nonconference matchup against Southwest Baptist.
Saturday's match at Fort Hays State was postponed due to high winds and will be rescheduled at a later date.
MoWest now turns its attention to Sunday's conference opener at Nebraska-Kearney (6-6, 0-1 MIAA), with first serve set for 11 a.m. in Kearney, Nebraska.
The Griffons then return home on Tuesday, March 31 to host Southwest Baptist (1-9, 0-0 GLVC) at 1 p.m.
MWSU continues to earn national recognition in the latest ITA Division II rankings. Johanna Priedite is ranked No. 73 in NCAA Division II singles with an 11-4 record. In doubles, the duo of Jevrosima Mitic and Alejandra Ramirez Botella is ranked No. 44 nationally, holding a 4-2 record.

The Griffons remain at home for their first MIAA matches, hosting Arkansas-Fort Smith on Thursday, April 2 at 12 p.m., followed by Northeastern State on Saturday, April 4 at 12 p.m. in St. Joseph.
