Interim head coach
Sean Gosewisch shared his thoughts following day one of the meet, saying, "Some athletes stepped up to the level of competition and performed well. Though not her lifetime best, it's always good to get an event win, something Makenzie is no stranger to. I think
Meagan Smith, Mason Orschlein, and
Abby Kinney capitalized on the opportunity as well, running great for themselves. I hope to see us return tomorrow and continue performing well."
