T. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Track & Field earned multiple academic honors from the MIAA for the 2026 outdoor season, with 17 student-athletes recognized between the men's and women's programs.
Abigail Kinney earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award after posting a perfect 4.00 grade-point average while majoring in Population Health Management. Kinney was also named to the MIAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Academic Honor Roll.
The Griffon women placed 11 student-athletes on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, including Yesenia Carrillo Morales,
Reagan Craig,
Bailey Cutler,
Kelsi Fair,
Makenzie Garr,
Bethani Grove,
Maizie Hageman,
Abbey Henry, Abigail Kinney,
Abigail Smith, and
Danika Wattenbarger.
On the men's side,
Adam Ducey, Wimachmorr Gilo,
Mason Orscheln,
Logan Soedt,
Usman Tufa, and Pau Valdepenas Valderrama earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll recognition.
The academic honors highlight another successful year in the classroom for Griffon Track & Field, with student-athletes from both programs earning conference recognition for their academic achievements.
