TULSA, Okla. – Griffon men's golf closed out the NSU Men's Classic in 15th place overall, finishing with a team score of +18 through three rounds at Page Belcher Golf Course in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Griffons closed strong in the final round, carding a 282 (-2) to tie for the third-best team score of the day. That performance propelled them two spots up the leaderboard from day one at the NSU Men's Classic.
Parker Boggins paced the squad with a steady performance, tying for 21st individually at 212 (-1).
Both
Aiden Asby and
Ethan Mustard matched each other at 216 (+3) to tie for 45th. Mustard highlighted his final round with an eagle on hole seven and five birdies to fuel the Griffons' push up the leaderboard.
Jackson Patterson carded a 230 (+17) to tie for 98th.
Parker Bunting followed in 110th with a 231 (+18), and individual competitor
Sam Schoeberl rounded out the lineup, tying for 103rd at 232 (+19).
