ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Missouri Western has announced the dates for its annual volleyball summer camps.  There will be two individual camps and a team camp as well.
 
All three camps will take place inside the MWSU Fieldhouse and registration is now open.
 
GRIFFON ELITE CAMP
Dates: July 19-20
Grades: 8^th – 12^th
Cost: $200
 
The Griffon Elite Camp will be an all-skills competitive camp targeted for players determined to play at the collegiate level. Prospects will receive college level coaching and training from the Griffon Coaching Staff as well as current players. The camp will focus on individual skills as well as competitive play.
 
The Griffon Elite Camp is a commuter camp, and the cost does include a t-shirt and lunch. Players are encouraged to bring their own water bottle.
 
LITTLE GRIFFS CAMP
Date: July 21
Grades: 1st – 6th
Cost: $90
 
The Little Griffs Camp is one fun filled day! This camp is packed with games while also focusing on the fundamentals of volleyball. Campers will be coached by the Griffon Coaching Staff as well as current players. Lowered nets and lighter volleyballs will be provided, and players should bring their own knee pads and a water bottle.

MOKAN TOP 10 TEAM CAMP
Dates: July 15-16
Grades: High School Teams from Class 1 to Class 6
Cost: $30 per athlete (Additional $10 for profile to give to college coaches)
 
Missouri Western will also be hosting one of the premier team camps in the Midwest as the MOKAN Top 10 camp will feature top teams Kansas and Missouri all under one roof. This extremely competitive one day camp allows teams to compete against other teams in their own class.
 
Camp Highlights:

• All matches played at the MWSU Fieldhouse (6 courts)
• 12-15 matches depending on the number of teams
• Prizes awarded, including prizes for 1st place
• Limit of 9 teams per division – Class 1-6
• Your team will not have to referee, keep score, call lines, etc.
