Outlook: Brings a lot of power to the Griffons offense...will be a player the will contribute right away...has a good eye at the plate and has a solid work ethic.

2013 season: Named Honorable Mention All-MIAA for utility player...started all 52 games and used mostly as a designated hitter...batted .355 and had 75 hits...had eight home runs, four triples and 12 doubles...scored 43 runs...recorded 46 RBI...had 70 putouts in limited action in the outfield.

2012 season: Second Team All-MIAA...played in 50 games with 49 starts at the designated hitter position...finished with a .314 batting average...had 55 hits with 99 total bases...led the team with 10 home runs and 45 RBI...had 12 doubles and one triple...had a .566 slugging percentage and .356 on base percentage.

Maple Woods CC: Was an All-Region player at Maple Woods...hit .430 with 10 home runs and 45 RBI.

High School: Two time First Team all-State...two year team captain...hepled his team to the state runner-up...was also an all-State defensive end and First team all-District performer...His senior season he hit .430 with 17 home runs and 68 RBI while he had 73 RBI with 20 home runs and hit .400 as a junior.

Personal: Son of Rhonda and Scott Simpson...his mother has had the greatest impact on is athletec career...greatest sports moment is breaking his high school record for home runs and RBI's...step brother Andrew Simpson plays for the Griffons as well...majoring in accounting at Western.
