WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Griffon Track and Field completed day one of the UCM Kip and Kirk Outdoor Mule Relays on Thursday at Walton Stadium and Kennedy Field.

Dawson Miller paced the Griffons in the men's javelin with a 22nd-place finish, recording a throw of 48.73 meters (159-11). Tate Youtsey followed in 30th at 44.16 meters (144-11), while Jackson Sigrist placed 33rd with a mark of 35.72 meters (117-2). Miller also competed in the hammer throw, finishing 25th with a distance of 46.73 meters (153-4).

Kelsi Fair placed 30th in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 40.00 meters (131-3). Abbey Henry turned in a strong performance in the women's long jump, placing ninth with a leap of 5.32 meters (17-5.50, 0.7). Maddison McMillian led the Griffons in the women's javelin with a third-place finish, throwing 40.81 meters (133-11). Abby Molloy followed in 12th at 34.73 meters (113-12), while Taylor Wood placed 26th with a mark of 27.02 meters (88-8).

In the men's 1,500 meters, Kayden Crigger led MoWest with a third-place finish in 4:02.39. Mason Orscheln placed 22nd in 4:08.61, followed by Aidan Jumper in 45th (4:15.57) and Dylan Stout in 51st (4:17.60).

In the men's 5,000 meters, Ryan Ringenberg recorded a fifth-place finish in 15:49.62. Adam Ducey placed 29th in 17:00.79, while Levi Huber finished 31st in 17:05.19. Sam Shipp added a 32nd-place finish in the men's 5,000-meter invite with a time of 15:44.74.

On the women's side, Hailey McKinney placed 22nd in the 5,000 meters (21:18.71), while Meagan Smith turned in a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter invite with a time of 2:21.23.

Abby Kinney placed 27th in the women's 5,000-meter invite with a time of 18:47.61.

Logan Soedt wrapped up day one for the Griffons in the men's 10,000 meters, finishing 17th with a time of 33:37.99.
