ROGERS, Ark. – Griffon Men's Golf finished tied for eighth place at the Shadow Valley Invitational, posting a three-round team total of 904 (+40) at Indian Springs Country Club. Harding captured the team title at 872 (+8), followed by Central Oklahoma at 883 (+19) and Northwestern Oklahoma State at 886 (+22).
MoWest closed the tournament with rounds of 306, 300 and 298, tying Pittsburg State for eighth
Aiden Asby led the way for the Griffons, finishing tied for sixth overall with a three-round total of 217 (+1). Asby opened the tournament with an even-par 72 in round one, highlighted by birdies on holes two, three, 10, 11 and 12 to stay near the top of the leaderboard.
He followed with a 74 (+2) in round two before closing the tournament strong with a one-under 71 in the final round. In the closing round, Asby recorded birdies on holes 3 and 12 and played steady golf down the stretch to finish inside the top ten.
Bennett Berger finished tied for 22nd overall with a three-round total of 225 (+9). He opened the tournament with a 76 (+4) in the first round before turning in his best performance of the event in round two with a 72. Berger closed the tournament with a 77 (+5) in the final round to secure a top-25 finish
Parker Boggins finished tied for 35th overall with a three-round total of 227 (+11). He opened the tournament with a 78 (+6) in round one before bouncing back with a 75 (+3) in the second round. Boggins closed the event with his best round of the tournament, carding a 74 (+2) in the final round.
Parker Bunting finished tied for 74th overall with a three-round total of 238 (+22). He opened the tournament with an 80 (+8) in round one, followed by an 82 (+10) in round two, before closing with a 76 (+4) in the final round.
Tim Johnston finished 77th overall with a three-round total of 239 (+23). He opened the tournament with an 82 (+10) in round one, followed by a 79 (+7) in round two, before closing with a 78 (+6) in the final round.
Competing as an individual, Davis Jungbluth finished tied for 88th with a three-round total of 251 (+35). Jungbluth opened the tournament with an 88 in round one, followed by a 76 in round two and an 87 in the final round.

Griffon Men's Golf returns to action March 16–17 at the Oak Tree Invitational in Edmond, Oklahoma. The two-day tournament will be held at Oak Tree Country Club.
