WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Griffon Men's Golf sits tied for sixth after the opening two rounds of The Mule on Tuesday at Mules National Golf Club, finishing the day at 13-over 573.

MoWest opened with a 9-over 289 in Round One before improving by five strokes with a 4-over 284 in the second round. The Griffons moved up three spots on the team leaderboard during Round Two.

Ethan Mustard led the Griffons through two rounds, sitting tied for eighth at 1-under 139. Mustard opened with a 2-over 72 before firing a 3-under 67 in Round Two, moving up 24 spots on the leaderboard. He played the back nine of his second round in 4-under 31 with birdies on Nos. 10, 13, 16 and 17.

Michael Atnip made a 31-spot jump in the second round and sits tied for 44th at 6-over 146. After opening with a 7-over 77, Atnip responded with a 1-under 69 in Round Two, highlighted by four birdies.

Tim Johnston is tied for 38th at 5-over 145 after posting rounds of 72 and 73.

Bennett Berger sits tied for 57th at 8-over 148 following rounds of 70 and 78. Berger's opening round included three birdies and a 1-under 34 on the back nine.

Parker Boggins is tied for 67th at 10-over 150 after carding back-to-back rounds of 75.
