Men’s Golf improves score in Round Two of NCAA Midwest/Central Regional

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Griffon Men's Golf continued play Friday at the 2026 NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Regional at Katke Golf Course.

MoWest improved its team score during round two, carding a 306 (+18) for a 36-hole total of 615 (+39) heading into Saturday's final round. The Griffons enter the final day sitting 18th in the 20-team regional field.

Tim Johnston once again paced the Griffons, shooting a 75 (+3) during round two. Johnston sits at 149 (+5) through 36 holes and is tied for 38th individually entering the final round.

Parker Boggins also recorded a 75 (+3) on Friday and moved into a tie for 66th overall with a two-round score of 153 (+9).

Ethan Mustard finished round two with a 78 (+6) and sits tied for 87th overall at 156 (+12). Bennett Berger also posted a 78 (+6) and is tied for 96th at 158 (+14).

Aiden Asby rounded out the Griffon lineup with a 79 (+7) during Friday's round and is tied for 96th individually with a 36-hole score of 158 (+14).

MoWest closes out the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional on Saturday at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan.
