INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Griffon Men's Golf has qualified for the NCAA Central/Midwest Regional set to be played May 7-9 at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan.
The Griffons are the No. 9 seed in the Central Region, qualifying for a third time in six years and for the seventh time in program history.
Men's golf is coming off of a fifth place finish in the MIAA Championships in Jefferson City on April 15. Senior Aiden Asby was named as an all-MIAA golfer.
Asby will compete in the regional, along with Parker Boggins, Tim Johnston, Ethan Mustard and Bennett Berger. Ten teams from both the Central and Midwest Region will compete, making up a field of 20 total teams and eight individuals in Big Rapids.
The NCAA National Championship is set for May 18-22 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The top three teams out of each regional qualify for nationals, along with the top two individuals who are NOT on a qualifying team.
