Griffon Tennis picked fifth in 2026 MIAA Women’s Tennis Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced the preseason coaches poll for the 2026 women's tennis season.

Griffon Tennis was selected to finish fifth in the 2026 MIAA Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll, collecting 47 total points.

MWSU opens the spring schedule at home on Saturday, Feb. 14, hosting Rockhurst University in an 8 a.m. matchup to begin the 2026 campaign.

Conference teams across the MIAA will start the spring season during the first week of February, with league matches slated to begin in March. The 2026 MIAA Women's Tennis Championship will be held May 1–3 at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Missouri.
