Women's basketball ranked No. 11 in WBCA Academic Top 25 Honor Roll

Griffons excelled in 2024-25 with a 3.788 team GPA.

ATLANTA, Ga. – Missouri Western women's basketball was ranked No. 11 in the Women's College Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 Honor Roll, which recognizes women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined team GPAs for the entire season.

The Griffons ranked No. 11 in the NCAA Division II poll, with a team grade point average of 3.788 – the highest of any team in the MIAA.

Missouri Western ended the 2024-25 season with a 20-10 record overall, having reached the NCAA tournament for a third time in the last four seasons.

Missouri Western looks to continue its success both on the court and in the classroom, with new head coach Luke Scheidecker and his staff signing 12 new players ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
