KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced the All-Tournament Team for the 2026 MIAA Women's Basketball Championships held at the historic Municipal Auditorium, where Mia Morel earned All-Tournament Team honors after leading the No. 7 seed Griffon women's basketball to a run into the MIAA Semifinals.
Morel turned in an outstanding three-game performance in Kansas City, averaging 30.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 37.5 percent from the field and 93.3 percent from the free-throw line. She finished the tournament with 90 total points, setting a new single-tournament scoring record in MIAA Women's Basketball Championship history while leading the Griffon offense throughout the postseason run.
The Griffon guard opened the tournament with a 37-point performance against Nebraska–Kearney Lopers women's basketball, finishing just two points shy of tying the MIAA Tournament single-game scoring record of 39 points. She shot 14-of-29 from the field and went 6-of-7 at the free-throw line in the standout effort.
Morel followed with 32 points in the quarterfinal upset of the No. 2 seed Fort Hays State Tigers women's basketball, knocking down four three-pointers while converting all six of her free-throw attempts.
She closed the tournament with 21 points in the semifinal matchup against Washburn Ichabods women's basketball, once again leading the Griffon offense.
Across the three games, Morel finished with 90 points on 33-of-88 shooting, including 10 three-pointers, while going 14-for-15 from the free-throw line. She added 15 rebounds, eight assists, five steals, and averaged 30.0 points per game during the Griffons' run at the MIAA Women's Basketball Championships.
