KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) unveiled the 2025 Outdoor Track and Field Academic Awards for the 2025 season, and 25 Griffons were named to the list.
For the men's category, the following individuals achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher and were recognized on the Academic Honor Roll:
Keelan Aita,
Joshua Collier,
Peter Cuddy,
Adam Ducey,
Tyrease Dutton-Bicalho,
Rhett Foster,
Samuel Hydro,
Mason Orscheln,
Alex Thompson and
Joshua Zachary.
Additionally, Hydro was honored with the prestigious Academic Excellence Award for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA.
On the women's side, the following students also attained a GPA of 3.0 or higher:

Yesenia Carrillo-Morales,
Reagan Craig,
Bailey Cutler,
Lillian Cutler,
Makenzie Garr,
Bethani Grove,

Madison Nash and
Abigail Smith.
Kinney, who was awarded a share of the MIAA "A Game Scholar Athlete" honor, also received Academic Excellence recognition for maintaining a flawless 4.00 GPA.
Four-hundred and 55 outdoor track and field student-athletes (228 men, 227 women) were named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.

These outdoor track and field academic awards do not include first year student-athletes or first-year transfers. The MIAA will release separate academic awards for its 2024-25 newcomers in late June, once the student-athletes have completed at least two terms of attendance at the certifying MIAA member institution.
