Five from Griffon Softball named CSC Academic All-District®

Rader will advance to the All-America® ballot

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Softball Teams on Tuesday, and the Griffons had five players named to the list.

Mackenzie DeVine, Kalee Higdon, Taylor Jones, Harley Pruetting and Sydney Rader were recognized for their academic achievements, each achieving a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher. Rader will advance to the All-America ballot.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17, 2025.
