MWSU scored five unanswered runs in the Texas finale

SAN ANGELO, Texas - Missouri Western's softball (5-5) rallied from an early deficit by scoring five unanswered runs to secure a 5-3 victory against Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) on the final day of the George and Ola McCorkle Challenge.

The Tigers (4-5) took an early lead with a 2-run home run and an RBI single in the top of the first inning at Mayer Field. However, the Griffons answered back in the third inning with an RBI double from Mackenzie DeVine (2-4), followed by a 2-RBI double from Sienna Reed, which tied the game at 3-3.
