WARRENSBURG, Mo. — No. 20 Griffon Volleyball extended its win streak to 10 matches with a four-set victory over (RV) Central Missouri, 3-1 (24-26, 28-26, 25-18, 25-23), on Friday night to improve to 19-5, 11-2 MIAA, while the Jennies fell to 17-7, 8-5 MIAA.

After dropping the first set 24-26 after leading 24-18 at one point, the Griffons bounced back to win the next three sets. MoWest rallied with a clutch 28-26 win in the second to swing the momentum, took control with a 25-18 third-set win, and closed it out 25-23 in the fourth to secure another key conference victory.

The win carried extra meaning as Head Coach Jessica Fey earned her 100th career coaching victory.

Griffon Volleyball's attack was led by Taylor Russell with 11 kills, followed by Emily Loy with nine, Noelle Sutcliffe with nine, and Trista Marx with eight. Emma Salker added eight kills while hitting a team-best .333, leading the defensive front as well with seven total blocks. Defensively, Anna Weberg paced the back row with 16 digs, followed closely by Holly Heldt with 15.

The Griffons are tied with No. 3 Nebraska Kearney for the top spot in the MIAA standings at 11-2, with just three matches remaining in the regular season. The two teams are set to face each other in the regular-season finale.
