KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced its major postseason awards and All-MIAA teams from the 2025 volleyball season. A total of 45 NCAA Division II volleyball athletes earned All-MIAA recognition this year, led by the league's six major award winners.
MoWest Volleyball was represented with one major postseason honor and six overall selections across the All-MIAA teams.
The Griffons' breakdown featured one major award recipient, two First Team selections, two Second Team honorees, and two players earning Honorable Mention status.
Coach of the Year: Jessica Fey

Jessica Fey was named MIAA Coach of the Year after guiding the Griffons to a share of the MIAA Regular Season Championship. The Griffons went 13-3 in conference play in the regular season and secured the No. 2 overall seed for the MIAA postseason tournament. It marked the program's first regular season title share since 2017. Fey also recorded her 100th career coaching victory this season.
All-MIAA First Team: Taylor Russell, RS
The junior right-side hitter
Taylor Russell delivered a steady and productive conference regular season, finishing MIAA play with 171 kills while hitting .290 across 59 sets. She added 40 total blocks at the net and chipped in 32 digs defensively. Overall, Russell closed out league action with 193.0 total points, averaging 2.90 kills per set, 0.54 digs per set, 0.68 blocks per set, and 3.27 points per set throughout conference play.
All-MIAA First Team: Emma Salker, MB
Senior
Emma Salker delivered a strong regular season conference showing with 132 kills and a .257 hitting percentage in 59 sets. She added 76 total blocks, 67 digs, and 14 service aces, finishing MIAA play with 188.5 points while averaging 2.24 kills, 1.14 digs, 1.29 blocks, and 3.19 points per set.
All-MIAA Second Team: Holly Heldt, OH
Holly Heldt made an impact throughout her junior year on the outside, competing in 59 regular season conference sets. She averaged 2.39 kills per set with 141 total kills while hitting .176 on the year. Heldt also added 23 service aces, 206 digs at 3.49 per set, and contributed on the block with 30 total blocks.
All-MIAA Second Team: Anna Weberg, L/DS
Anna Weberg was a strong defensive presence for the Griffons throughout regular season MIAA play, appearing in 59 sets during her junior season. She led the Griffons with 302 digs at 5.12 per set while recording a .954 reception percentage on 306 attempts. At the service line, she added 18 aces with a .955 serve percentage. Weberg also contributed 40 assists and 19 points, anchoring MoWest's defense throughout league action.
All-MIAA Honorable Mention: Noelle Sutcliffe, OH
In her sophomore year, outside hitter
Noelle Sutcliffe totaled 139 kills with a .164 hitting percentage across 53 sets in her regular season conference campaign. She added 22 total blocks, 30 digs, and 1 service ace, finishing league play with 152.0 points while averaging 2.62 kills, 0.57 digs, and 2.87 points per set.
All-MIAA Honorable Mention: Trista Marx, MB
Senior Middle blocker
Trista Marx finished her regular season conference campaign with 100 kills while hitting .302 across 59 sets. She added 49 total blocks, including 40 block assists and 9 solos, and recorded 21 digs. Marx closed league play with 129.0 points, averaging 1.69 kills, 0.83 blocks, and 2.19 points per set.
