BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — MoWest Men's Golf wrapped up the opening day of the Tulsa Cup in 10th place (+5) after two rounds at Indian Springs Country Club, finishing with team scores of 290 and 291.
Aiden Asby led the Griffons with a strong bounce-back performance, shooting a 73 (+1) in the morning before firing a 70 (-2) in Round 2 to finish 1-under (143) and tied for 18th overall.
Parker Boggins matched Asby's pace, carding an opening 69 (-3) with three birdies and a clean back nine, followed by a 74 (+2) in the afternoon to also sit 1-under (143) and tied for 18th.
Tim Johnston posted rounds of 75 (+3) and 73 (+1) to stand at +4 (148), tied for 52nd, while
Parker Bunting sits tied for 62nd after rounds of 75 (+3) and 74 (+2) for a 149(+5) total.
Tommy McDowell rounded out the lineup in 80th place (+8) after shooting 73 (+1) in Round 1 and 79 (+7) in Round 2.
