Alejandro de la Torre's program reached the championship match of the MIAA Championships for a fourth successive season. The Griffons, moving to 16-3 on the season, captured the doubles point and received singles decisions from senior
Isabella MacGibbon (Brisbane, Australia), senior
Anais Peralta Criado (Sevilla, Spain), and graduate student
Maria Saez (Alicante, Spain) to topple sixth-seeded Northeastern State University at Edmond Center Court.
All three singles victories proved dominant. Peralta and Saez surrendered only three game defeats apiece, and MacGibbon was a 6-3, 6-4 winner. Saez remained unbeaten, improving to 18-0.
