ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Missouri Western's head tennis coach, Alejandro de la Torre, has announced the addition of Ella Gates on National Signing Day. She will be joining the program in the 2025-2026 season.
 
"We are very excited about Ella joining us next year; she felt like a great fit the moment she set foot on campus," de la Torre commented. "We were all very impressed with her tennis during her tryout, and I can't wait to see her wearing our colors."
 
Gates is currently a senior at Staley High School in Kansas City. With the Falcons, she placed fifth in doubles competition at the Missouri State High School Activities Association State Championships.
