ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Griffon Softball has announced they will play Benedictine College in a doubleheader on Wednesday at 3 and 5 p.m. at the Spring Sports Complex.

The Griffons' new 2023 home opener can be viewed on the MIAA Network, as live stats will be available as well. Missouri Western (12-5, 2-2 MIAA) enters the contests with a pair of MIAA doubleheader splits under its belts, while Benedictine (9-10) comes to St. Joseph losing four of its last six games. 

On top of that, Missouri Western is canceling the 2023 Fairfield Inn & Suites Classic due to impending weather in St. Joseph this weekend. The Griffons will now play Wayne State and Upper Iowa in a pair of home doubleheaders on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
