PITTSBURG, Ks. - The Missouri Western men's and women's track and field teams posted another day of solid performances at the Pittsburg State Invitational on Saturday (Jan 29).
The Griffons notched two event wins, recorded 15 PR's and set four school records in the 25-team invite.
"There were a lot of really good things that happened," Â Head Coach
Cody Ingold said. Â "This likely was our most complete event this early in the season we've ever had." Â

Garr also fnished second in the Men's Weight Throw event with a program-record toss of 17.56.
Also on the men's side, Griffon senior and MWSU T&F founding member

"This was a great step forward," Ingold said. "If we keep this pace, I'm excited for what we could possibly look for at conference (MIAA Indoor Championships) at the end of February."
The Griffons return to action on February 4th and 5th with another short 42-mile trek to Maryville to compete in the Bearcat Invitational at Northwest Missouri State.Â
