MWSU Tennis defeats William Jewell for third straight win

LIBERTY, Mo. – The Missouri Western tennis team won its third straight match Saturday with a 4-1 victory at William Jewell.  The Griffons, who are ranked No. 5 in the latest regional rankings, rested most of their top players as the Cardinals had just four healthy women and MWSU improves to 6-2.

Missouri Western returns home next week as play their first MIAA matches of the season.  The Griffons host Fort Hays State on Friday, April 2 at 3:00 p.m. and Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m.
