ORLANDO – Griffon tennis fell to University of North Georgia 7-2. It is the second consecutive nationally ranked opponent that Missouri Western has faced.

Sofia Aguilera notched a thrilling three set victory at #3 singles. After falling in the first set, Aguilera bounced back to win the second set 6-3 and 13-11 in a super tiebreaker in the third set. Federica Salmaso and Karolina Ström took in #3 doubles 8-5 for the MWSU victory.

The Griffons are in action twice on March 16, opening against Seton Hill at 12:30 p.m. and then an evening match with Washington College at 7 p.m.
