KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Griffon tennis (3-1) defeated William Jewell (0-2) 6-3 to close out the fall season. Missouri Western also extended its winning streak to three matches, the longest streak since the 2015-16 season.

CLOSE CALLS
Missouri Western had a few close calls in the match with three matches going three sets and one doubles match decided in a tie breaker. Bojana Vuksan at #1 Singles and Joanna Abreu Roman in #3 Singles each won their match in the third sets. Vuksan and Abreu Roman each picked up their fourth win of the season as well. #1 Doubles was decided by a tiebreaker that gave Joanna Abreu Roman and Karolina Str?m their fourth doubles victory of the season. Sofia Aguilera and Bojana Vuksan fought back to win a tight match in #2 Doubles, 8-6.
 
STRAIGHT SET
Karolina Str?m wasted little time in controlling her match in #2 Singles. Str?m jumped out with an early 6-0 first set win and took the second set, 6-2. In #6 Singles,Bia Neto won a tight first set 7-5 before she cruised to a 6-3 second set victory.
