BOLIVAR, Mo. – Missouri Western Women's Tennis dropped its third straight game on Friday afternoon, falling to Southwest Baptist 9-0. MWSU has now lost three straight games for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

The Griffons were unable to claim a win in doubles competition. In the No. 1 spot Sofia Aguilera and Yasmine El Ghazi fell 8-1. Lindsay Beger and Denise Chiao dropped the No. 3 doubles match 8-3.

Missouri Western struggled in singles competition, dropping all six matches on the day. Freshman Joanna Abreu Roman was able to keep it close in the No. 4 singles match but fell 6-3, 7-6 (3). Meara Smith fell 6-2, 7-5 in her singles match at No. 6.
