Season Stats

The Missouri Western tennis team opened up their 2012 campaign today against Northeastern State at the St. Jospeh Swim and Tennis Club. The Griffons battled hard, but were defeated by the Riverhawks 9-0.  Coach Ron Selkirk, while not pleased with the result of the matches, was content with the determination that his players showed against a team that was already in midseason form.

The Lady Griffons fall to 0-1 on the season and next host Morningside College, Lincoln University and Newman University for the Car City Invite next weekend, February 24^th and 25^th in St. Joseph, Mo. Game time is set for 9:00 am.
