Emily Eldridge

Emily Eldridge joined the Griffon Soccer coaching staff prior to the 2018 season following a highly successful career as a student-athlete and one season as a student assistant coach at Central Missouri.
 
In her first season in coaching, Eldridge helped lead Central Missouri to an undefeated (26-0) NCAA Division II National Championship season. Eldridge was named as a member of the United Soccer Coaches National Coaching Staff of the Year at Central Missouri as well as the United Soccer Coaches Central Region Coaching Staff of the Year. She helped coach UCM student-athletes to eight All-America selections, 10 All-Region picks and nine All-MIAA honorees in 2017.
 
In her senior season, Eldridge was named the 2016 MIAA Defensive Player of the Year and was a first team All-American while helping UCM to its seventh-straight MIAA regular season championship and third-straight NCAA Central Region championship.
 
In her career at UCM, Eldridge collected five different All-America honors and six All-Region selections. She played in 86 games, one short of the UCM and MIAA records, and was a six-time MIAA Player of the Week. Eldridge also received four MIAA Scholar-Athlete awards and was a four-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. As a senior in 2016, Eldridge was named the co-winner of the Dr. Peggy Martin Award for Outstanding Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
 
A native of Bucyrus, Kansas, Eldridge received a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in fashion merchandising from Central Missouri in December, 2017. She will be working toward a master’s in sports and fitness management at Missouri Western.
