Outlook: Will be looked upon as a leader on and off the course...Western's top golfer since she was a freshman...is a competitor who does not get rattled on the course...hits the ball well off the tee and has an excellent short game.

2012-2013: Second Team All-MIAA...played in 11 events with a low round of 72...MWSU Women's Student Athlete of the Year...finished first out of 37 players in the UNK Women's Fall Classic...finished in the top 10 in six events out of 11...averaged 81 per round...was the first women's golfer to be selected to the NCAA Division II Regionals...MIAA 
Scholar-Athlete Award (3.5 cumulative GPA plus All-MIAA Honors)...MIAA Academic Honor Roll (3.0 cumulative GPA).

2011-2012: First Team All-MIAA...MIAA Women's Golf of the Week on March 21, 2012...MWSU Women's Golf Student Athlete of the Year...played in 11 events with a low round of 76...finished in the top five five times, top 10 eight time and top 20 ten times...averaged 83 per round...finished second at the RU Early Bird Classic and the MIAA Championships...MIAA all-Tournament Team.

2010-2011: First Team All-MIAA selection, was also named to the NGCA DII All-American Scholar team for the second time...competed in 10 events, finishing with an 84.9 stroke average...finished in the top-10 four times. High finish was a tie for 3rd at the NWMSU Fall Invite, shooting a +16 (160).

2009-2010: MIAA Freshman of the Year...First Team All-MIAA...MWSU Women's Golf Student Athlete of the Year...played in all ten events...played 20 rounds averaging 83.8 per round....finished first twice, once at the Missouri Western Invitational on March 28, 2010 and once at the Green and Gold Spring Shootout on April 8, 2010.....tied for second at the MIAA Conference Championships on April 19, 2010.

High school: Bird is a four year letter winner while being named All-District all four years with her best finish being 2nd in 2008. Bird was also an All-State performer finishing 10th in 2007 and 7th in 2008. She finished in the top ten 22 times in her high school career which includes eight first place finishes her senior season. During her career she averaged 79 on 18 holes and was named her team’s MVP during her senior season.
