Missouri Western State University Athletics

Missouri Western, in partnership with Mosaic Life Care, announced the promotion of Rachel Petty as the university's new head athletic trainer in December 2024. The long-time Griffon has served on the MWSU/Mosaic Life Care Sports Medicine Staff for the better part of 12 years. 

Petty, who has more than 20 years of athletic training experience, served as an AT for Mosaic and Missouri Western from 2012-2022, and returned in 2023 as an associate athletic trainer. She now leads the seven-person MWSU sports medicine staff provided exclusively through Mosaic Life Care.
