Sean officially joined Griffon Nation in July 2024.
Gosewisch brings over 10 years of coaching experience, serving as a head coach, assistant coach and graduate assistant. He holds a USATF Level 1 Certification and USTFCCCA Level 3 Endurance Specialist Certification.
His most recent position was at NCAA Division II Tusculum University in Greenville, Tennessee, where he worked for two years with the Pioneers as an assistant coach for two years. Before that, Gosewisch was the head cross country and assistant track and field coach at NAIA William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa, from 2011 to 2021.
The Lockport, Illinois native obtained a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in French from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville in 2010 and later earned a master's in business leadership from William Penn University in 2013.
