Visiting Team Information
Missouri Western State University Sports Medicine welcomes you and your staff to our campus for your upcoming competition. During your visit, the athletic training room and all of our medical equipment will be available at your discretion. MWSU currently has two fully functional Athletic Training rooms. Our main Athletic Training room is located in the Griffon Indoor Sports Complex Room 135 and our second athletic training room is housed in the Looney Complex room 130. The Athletic Training rooms will be available before all competitions, but please make arrangements with one of our Sports Medicine staff for specific game time hours.
If your team is not traveling with a Certified Athletic Trainer, please inform our staff as soon as possible. To accommodate your team, we ask you to provide a letter that includes but is not limited to any taping, bracing, modality use, or any other medical-specific treatment.
The Griffon Sports Medicine will provide the following:
Water cooler and cups
Ice chest, Ice bags, and flexi-wrap
Emergency equipment will be available on the Home sideline/bench (AED, Splints, Crutches)
Blood management supplies
Towels if requested
Emergency Care
Mosaic Medical Center's Emergency Department is a 24-hour service.
