2012 season: Started all 14 games...recorded 61 tackles and 35 solo tackles...had a school record 22.5 tackles for a loss which resulted in 99 yards...had eight sacks...forced four fumbles and recovered two...had 10 quarterback hurries and five pass breakups...recorded a season-high 1.5 sacks against Pittsburg State on Oct. 20...against Northeastern State on Oct. 6 he had 4.5 tackles for a loss and 2 pass breakups on the RiverHawks final possession to help seal the win...name First Team All-MIAA.

2011 season: Started all 12 games...second team all-MIAA...Don Hansen second team all-Region...Don Hansen honorable mention all-America selection...had 42 tackles with 14.5 being for a loss and 17 being solo...had 8.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one interceptions, three quaterback hurries and two pass break-ups...had career high eight tackles on September 10, 2011 against Central Missouri...had two sacks in a game twice, against Central Missouri and on October 15, 2011 at Emporia State.

2009 season: Played in 12 games for the Griffons... finished with eight tackles and one pass break up.
2008 season: Redshirted
High School: Defensive Player of the Year and a KKWK All-Star Team selection...Pister was also a captain at Central High School...he was a two-time all-State, three-time all-Conference, three-time all-District, three-time all-City and three-time all-News-Press selection while playing for the Indians.
