Outlook: Talented midfielder who will be looked upon for leadership this season...has a lot of talent and has developed into a solid player in the MIAA ...makes good decisions with the ball and gets the ball up field when opportunity presents itself.

2012 season: Started all 16 games for the Griffons...scored her first career goal on Sept. 4 against William Jewell...had three shots, two on goal with one assist...played in 1,443 minutes, which was second on the team...she was named second team All-MIAA for her effort as a defender...MIAA Academic Honor Roll (3.0 cumulative GPA).

2011 season: Started all 14 games for the Griffons...had three assists and three points...had sevnen hsots with three on goal...has played in all 52 games since joining the Griffons...averaged 85.8 minutes per game which was second on the team...

2010 season: Had a good sophomore season as she took six shots with three on goal...played in all 18 games with 17 starts while anchoring the midfield for the Griffons...fourth on the team with 1469 averaging 82 minutes per game.

2009 season: Castillo had a nice freshman season as she took nine shots on the season with one assist. She started all 20 games and anchored the midfield for the Griffons...All-MIAA honorable mention selection.

High School: Led team to 20-1 record and 2nd place finish in 2008 Kansas State Tournament…named AVCTL 1st Team and 2nd Team All-Region for 2008 season…AVCTL Defensive MVP...First Team All-Region, First Team All-State...voted defensive MVP by her teammates...helped set Kansas State record with 19 consecutive games without giving up a goal in 2008 season…nominated Team Captain by peers for senior year…played her club soccer for Jay Holmes and the Cholita Strikers.
