ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – No. 40 Griffon Tennis (16-3, 7-1 MIAA) travels to Maryville on Wednesday for a pivotal MIAA showdown and its final regular season matchup against No. 42 Northwest Missouri State (15-4, 6-2 MIAA). First serve is set for 3 p.m. at the Mark Rosewell Tennis Center.
MoWest enters the match looking to extend its strong conference play in what stands as one of the most significant contests of the season. A win would give the Griffons a chance to clinch a share of the MIAA regular season title, marking what would be the first conference crown in program history.

MoWest was previously listed in the first Central Regional Rankings on April 15 in alphabetical order, appearing as one of five MIAA programs included. MWSU's pairing of Jevrosima Mitic and Alejandra Ramirez Botella is currently ranked No. 48 in the nation in doubles competition.
